Picked up this classic tourer, needs a little work on some simple stuff, but runs very nice!

Gorgeous - what year is it? It's one of the last early T3 Californians, being registered early in 1979, on a T plate, having covered 26 k miles, doing 1000 miles since 2001, and less than 100 since 2010 Early means it has the ultra rare Borrani spoked rims, they went to cast alloy in 79 and it's taxed and tested!

...and it's taxed and tested! I know where to come if the VT isn't ready for JR14 .

very nice....freshly recovered seat too ....I remember one of my tradesmen getting one after as soon as he passed his test...he had only been riding for about 6 months and whilst parading up and down the carpark came to a stop beside some workmates.....one of them sat on the bike and blipped the throttle....bike went down on its rhs as quickly as the owner was scooting up and down on the road earlier.....oops

Yup no point in loosing the character of the bike....and the seat may be 10 yrs old but it looks spotless in the pics....enjoy

Longest sidestand I've ever seen! The sidestand is the same as the one fitted to the convert, as the convert can't be left in gear to stop it rolling down hill, then it's fitted with a rear brake linked to the sidestand, of course the cali T3 has gears, so the brake is not fitted, it clamps on the rear caliper,
