Don't worry, they have all sorts of amenities up there. I'm sure Trev has sorted a fuel stop for us, on our final approach . Nah, will wing it on the run on Sunday morning, won't be the first time I've set off on a run and noticed a little amber light on the dash Living on the edge!

Option 1. Provide your own and use YHA facilities. Option 2. Start the run hungry. Option 3. Ask the nearby public houses that provide b&b if they would accept a block booking for breakfast. ( I'll inquire today) Option 4. Bob and Fern cook breakfast for everyone.

I'll mention it to Fern, have you got any running shoes handy?

My running spikes are rusty. The Lister Arms, the pub nearest to the YHA do offer a breakfast service for none residents. Not cheap at nearly £9, but I am told is an excellent breakfast. Serving 7:30am until 10:00am. If anyone would like to avail themselves of this facility they would like to know numbers by Saturday evening. OK Fern, I made this inquiry for your benefit. If anyone shows up at your camp site for breakfast now, it's because Bob invited them.

F'kin hell, do they do kids portions or pay by instalments! I'll source my own I reckon? * Failing that I'll nip round to Ferns, (though I usually refuse to have breakfast with a women anyone I haven't slept with the night before), Bob, what's the chances? *Yha dwellers...source our own grub and cook it ourselves? (Martin can go to work on an egg).

Don't think Bob really wants to sleep with you Trev. Even if you promise to stay for Brekkers.

I think the YHA restaurant does a breakfast service but can't find any cast-iron reference to it - only to the self-catering kitchen facilities. Also, have just noticed that towels are not provided - although you can hire them apparently. Just hoping that bedding is included as my Duvet won't fit in the top box

I'm sure I read somewhere that bedding is included. Sounds like a Trev euphemism . BTW, tripadviser reviews mention breakfast so we might not have to dash elsewhere.

I've just made the decision to give tomorrow a miss due to health problems getting worse. I had been looking forward to this but would be daft if I even attempted half the run. I am hoping that I can get one final run or even part run in before it's too late so will leave it by saying hope to see you soon. Stay safe, have a great run and get plenty of pics. all the best Keith

Thanks to all who attended, particularly those who volunteered tec duties. I trust everyone made it home without incident. The weather was initially a bit dour, but improved slowly as the day progressed. The photograph is at our afternoon brew stop at White Scar Caves near Ingleton. All the bikes are our own group. There would have been more, but Martin forgot to bring his.
