The attendance was far in excess of my expectations. My thanks to all who attended, particularly those attending their first Diversion meet and those who undertook the duty of TEC. The weather wasn't too shabby and the countryside proved acceptable. Yes, all the bikes in this shot are our own forum members. I am accepting full responsibility for the weather and won't hear otherwise. Here's our group at the Ribblehead Viaduct. I now have to deal with the aftermath of our little venture through the Dales. The most expensive is the counselling sessions for the R1 rider overtaken by a luggage laden tourer pilotted by Verde. The other is enticing the Oxford English dictionary to include the descriptive "nadgery" for Martin's benefit. You need to ride some of my selected route to understand a nadgery road!

Fantastic day George and glorious weather to boot. Started out at 7.00 am this morning and soon began to think I'd made a mistake putting my 'air' jacket on, cursing the beebs weather forecaster, it wasn't supposed to be raining . Got just northwest of Selby and the sun came out so all was well with the world again. Good job it perked up a bit as me and my run buddy had to make a bit of 'progress' to make the start, not too bad a bit of timing was it ? Great roads, a mix of fast and twisty and after lunch a bit more of an agricultural feel. As ever, great company and a well planned route and stops made for an enjoyable day. Thanks to all, the tecs, the run leader and special thanks to my run buddy Deeps and son Matt for the company to and from the run, (oh yes, and Martin, who last I heard was heading to the east coast ) Special mention for Pops for making the effort in ever climbing temperatures, nice to see you back in the saddle bud.
