Here is a thread from a while ago when I fitted this sytem to my bike:- diversionclub.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=general&thread=11261&page=1There are a lot of pictures in the thread. I don't have the bike any more, but I had it for quite a while after fitting this exhaust and was very happy with it. I got used to the look of the single can, and solved the misalignment (which I think was self inflicted - the design and manufacture of the system was spot on) by slackening and then re-tightening the flanges at the cylinder head once the can was solidly mounted in the correct position.

Thanks for pointing that out, a very helpful thread. You didn't mention though did it ride any differently other than the weight? Also how did it sound with no baffle? Thanks

I don't think it made any measurable difference to the performance - I guess you would have to put it on a dyno and tune it to suit the pipes to gain anything - it sounded quicker though, and seemed to me to rev a bit free-er, but that may have been in my head 'cos of the sound. Never got round to trying it with the baffles out, unfortunately, so can't help there.

Hi all,
So I went for the delkavic pipes, I wasn't convinced on the looks of the 4-1. Very happy so far, they need a little tweeking to get the straight as they both point a little outwards at the moment! My main concern is that with the baffles out it has lost about 15mph off the top end, which isn't a bad thing for my licence but probably points out it is now running a bit lean. I'll pop the baffles back in. Considering fitting a K&N and jetting to suit the open pipes and new filter.

Another thing to watch out for is clearance on the axle bolt, it's close, and the first thing you'll know about it is when you hit a large bump in the road and hear a resounding clunk from the rear end. Don't ask me how I know this.
