New to site, where should I go?

Hi chaps, my son has just bought a pre-divvy xj600. I know that this board if for divvys but I cant find a UK pre-divvy site. Does anyone know a good place to look as I'm looking for a rear rack for a pre-divvy XJ600 one of the last ones, 1991 reg I believe it's a 3KM. Not sure what the actual model is perhaps someone could help?

Going to give it a once over, but it seems in good nick. FSH with it and 5 months MOT for £550 so quite happy with that.

Also looking for a manual, either hard copy or electronic is anyone has one available?

Will the rack from a divvy fit the pre-divvy?

Hi Dave, welcome .

A later (Divvy) rack is not going to be any good to you. Renntec still do racks for the earlier bike though.

If you're after second-hand, then Ebay / Gumtree are probably your friends.

I don't know of a forum just for the XJ600, but there's the Yamaha Owners forum ( yamahaclub.com/forums/ ) where it might also be worth asking. Or breakers could be worth checking out.

.......... mind you, whilst you're here, why not post us a pic, I like the older XJ's ?
