I'm looking at getting a satnav but I can't really justify paying for the Tom Tom Rider. Has anyone tried the Peaklife GPS and if so what does it involve getting the latest map sotware for it.. Any info about it would be appreciated

I have been useing a peaklife for about 12 months ,I can only say that its the best kit I've ever bought .The only down Side is that they only have blue tooth and no ear phone connection ,This hasent bothered me to much as the screen intuctions are very easy to follow .Although it dosent say so in the advert they come with a very comprehensive mapping installed. I will Shortly be leaveing on a trip across Europe useing mine just as it came.I dont know the price of them now ,I paid about £90 I have no knolege of the up market jobs . But I don't think they can be much better than one of these if at all.

Seems like its a usefull piece of kit- especially at its far cheaper price.
