Well, many thanks to everyone for turning up this weekend & letting me have the perfect excuse to blat around a fair few of my favourite roads . Yesterday's bimble & pub meet was fun, & today's run a fair pace with only a brief spell of rain in the morning. I'm safely home having seen the last of the runsters off North & South -wards. Today's run was cut a little short to pick up lost time after an unseemly incident on a bend, but I trust both rider & bike are making their ways home & are not too badly bruised . Please let me know you get home OK - I'll leave it up to you if you post here or just send me a txt. I hope everyone else has a safe journey home & I look forward to seeing some of you again on the next (FEN!) run .

Home safe, sound and dry Thanks to all runsters for the friendly banter and the company, been too long since I've been on a run, forgotten what a great bunch you all are. Hope John made it home ok, bike's mend matey, just pleased you were ok. Special thanks to Martin and Chris for their generous hospitality and Chele for sucking all my hard ones all day The run?, usual mix of fast and twisty bits with the inevitable u-turn and cross country bits thrown in. Enjoyed it immensely, thanks all.

Yes, I'll add my thanks Martin. I have to say, that gravel dispenser in your topbox is really clever

Just to let everyone know we arrived home around 9.00pm - the AA man was brilliant, he spotted broken wires near starter/kill buttons . Apart for some bruises, it was just Johns pride that was hurt most. Thanks Martin, also thanks to Roger and Trev. Tired now - off to bed when I've finished my beer.

Got home just after 7 just time for a quick & bath coffee before a mate turned up to drag me down the pub, I put up a good fight but unfortunately failed & had to go. Many thanks to Martin & Chris for their hospitality a bed for the night even if it was in a tent & feeding us Saturday I would like to point out that I would do more 2 day runs if all run leaders would do the same Neil & Jane treated me the same on his run & if an indoor bed is available I will make sure I am house trained ;D Thanks again to Martin for the run(s) Sat & Sun & Wog for back marking. Hope Johns not too sore after his off, or am I! making me mark the next junction for nearly an hour in the baking sun while things got sorted. A couple of incidents on the way home as the rules on roundabouts seem to have changed & you give way to cars entering the roundabout & don't have any choice as to what lane to exit it. Or so the thingy who tried to kill me just outside Winchester informed me when I got in front stopped & very politely asked him "what the f*** he was playing at". Later nearly home I was seeing alot of vintage vehicles & on exiting a roundabout on the A24 found that one had dumped a load of oil & cr@p on the road one big slide later I managed to make my way safely home avoiding the trails of oil left on the road for a mile or so. Looking forward to the next run I can make. Neil

A big thank you to Martin for organising the run.
Having only covered 200 miles on my D9 since purchasing it 6 weeks ago, it was great to blow the cobwebs out of it and find out why it was so wallowy (cheers Martin).
Funnily enough, I got home in glorious sunshine about 15 minutes after leaving you guys at the Red Lion. ;D
I enjoyed meeting you guys and putting some faces to names although I'm crap at remembering them!
Hope to see you on one of the next runs.
Cheers,
Andy (red frame D9)

late post here.... Really great weekend. Many Thanks Martin for a enjoyable weekend, and for the hospitality. ;D some great roads and very enjoyable riding round some interesting countryside. some things learnt over the weekend.. H D's can go quite fast in a straight line, not so keen to go round sharpish corners... When Trev says he take over back marking duties, he doesn't !! there must have been a HD day out, for ALL bikes still running at the start point ! as at our lunch stop, they all come past in a slooow stream,,,blimey they are noisy, couldn't hear much for about 10 minutes, and hearing still impaired after 15 mins. Max can have a right strop, especialy when somebody tries to knock him off chele is an excllent anger management system M40 man runs are worth attending ;D really good weekend, just a few spots of rain, but even they were soon dried off by the warm sunny thing ;D
