I was after a cheap euro satnav for a trip to France this year. After scouring the usual places (ebuyer, ebay etc.) I noticed the Halfords website has a clearance section of ex-display/ end of line stuff. I reserved a Mio at the Telford branch for the princely sum of £30, and when I picked it up, found that it was brand new and sealed in the box along with a spare mains charger and neoprene case. Needless to say, I was chuffed! ;D

Tried it! gave them a nudge and the only Halfords Branch with one in stock was Chester. I don't think so

Yes it's a thought Tomcat, but the logistics would be more trouble than the sat nav is worth

To be honest, I tried a couple of different satnavs until I found one at the right price and local enough to collect. One was in central Scotland and another on the south coast. If you fall lucky though, there's bargains to be had!

this is very similiar to the one i use except mine cost 3 times as much because its the RAM mount design woopy bloody dooo saying that i bought mine 2 years ago when this idea was still new so there wasnt much choice to my point the bag (the bit your prat nav actually goes in) is brilliant not let in any water in all that time ;D

A Plastic bag works wonders: works wonders! and you can change it night view (blue food bag) or day view (clear bag) A usful accsesory is a rubber band available from any good (or bad) street with houses that have post delivered.
