Just had new union nuts fitted to my 900 oil cooler. Quick turn around and reasonable cost. I would recommend this guy so if you have a leaky cooler ring - Trevor 07706 700899.

Hi Trevor is in Leicester, don't ask me what the weld is made of but all I can tell you is that it aint leaking now. Was £40 and back inside of the week. cheap when compared to a new one, no hassle when compared to modifying a generic cooler to fit. One thing i did do is get some genuine Yamaha copper washers. These are thinner than generic ones and seal easier. john

what do you consider reasonable cost?? was it an alliminium weld he did?? gizza clue!! Hi the nuts are brazed on, using oxy/ act as not enough room to get round with a tig welder. Its as strong as tig plus you get a better seal with brazing them. cheers trev
