Hello gang! I thought I'd register and pop in to say hi. I've just bought my first bike; a 1997 XJ900 Diversion, after passing my Mod 2 test last thursday. It was an absolute bargain! It will certainly clock some miles up as I have a 100 mile round trip commute to work. Luckily, its a joy to ride! Time to ditch those stinking trains! ;D

Welcome. Be careful out there - every other git is out to have you off! I have a pair of 50mm LED marker lights under the fairing cheeks inside the front indicator mounts. They make the bike stand out with the three light effect often seen on Beemer GSs. A bright LED side light also helps and in daylight can be better than dipped beam. My bro borrowed my bike the other day and was amazed how many cars kept out of his way. There's always a SMIDSY about, but it cuts down the numbers.

Welcome to the club and all the best with your new purchase and freedom. That's a bit pre-emptive, Dave!

Realistic though. Hopefully, I wasn't insulting Mito's driving skills.

Nooooo, not at all! Better to be seen! The crazy car drivers in central London where I work are a world away from what I'm used to at home in rural north Essex!
