Hello im matt im 18 have rebuilt 2 bikes so far and used to ride and still own two mt500 armstrongs great reliable bike. Sadly has small issues that makes it not so great for commuting. so i was looking at a commuter i was looking at ab cb400sf after borrowing a mates loved it. And lastly an xj600 which i bought its 1995 34000 miles on the clock going well. though sadly noisy clutch expected and tappets. But it has near enough full history and in 2009 it had a new cam chain and adjuster lovely. Only done 30ish miles on it but love it. And it looks completely mint.

there is a fix for the 600's noisy clutch in the tech section. As its getting on a bit in years, maybe the operating arm seals have failed and let water in. Easy enough to check when you fix the "death rattle".
