Do you have a particular item in your workshop that you wouldn't be without and would recommend to others? Tell us about it...
Are you thinking of expanding your toolkit or workshop equipment? ask what others think of the items before you buy...
Do you have a homemade tool that does a particular job that might be of use to others here? tell us the details, what it does, how you made it, etc...

Halfords Professional 36 piece 1/4" Socket Set. I bought one of these a while ago. Unlike car type 1/2" or 3/8" socket sets, that are a struggle to fit into tight spaces. £19.99

Wouldn't be without an old pillow, folded in half, wrapped in a builders plastic bag and bound up with gaffer tape. Mostly for saving my poor old knees but also handy for sitting on and even banging your head against sometimes (better than the brick wall!)

Set of combination spanners (8-24 mm) hanging in a row just above the bikes, plus a set of ball-ended Allen keys next to them. That way I can do a lot of simple checks and adjustments quickly without having to go to the toolchest.
Both sets from Lidl, btw, but no complaints about the quality.

Couldnt live without my air compressor - so many uses and just so coooool to use This bike im doing up has been standing outside for the last god knows how long, used the air wrench today to spin the rear axle pin while I mallet'ed it from the other side to get it out - brilliant and satisfying !!

My lathe and milling machine, cause I'm always using them to make the other tools that cost too much.
