Hi, Before I go blundering in, has anyone got any suggestions?
Left hand indicators work, right hand ones don't.
I removed the fairing about a week ago and silicone greased all the connector blocks, doubt if that would have affected them, as they worked up until today.

Is it a complete failure as in neither front , back or dash repeater are working ? If so I would say it is probably the contacts in the switch gear or the flasher unit itself !
MY RESPONSE
yup, complete failure, neither indicators or dash repeater.
I shall open up the switch and have a look, if it was the relay, the left hand side wouldn't be working either?
just looked, opened up the switchgear, sprayed with WD40. I noticed that the relay is operating when I turn on the right indicator, still no indicators or repeater though.

Not sure whether the relay is "Sided" ....If you try spraying some contact cleaner in the indicator switch slot and move the slide back and forth it may well come back to life
MY RESPONSE
Perhaps as the relay is getting current, as it's "clicking, it's on the output side of this?
there again, before it can click, it would have to find a path to earth?
any thoughts anyone?

Honestly? Sounds like a simple earth failure to me. I'd be checking for a busted or bared or rubbing wire or crusty connector. Less likely to be the switch, though possible I guess. The flasher relay? Sounds good to me. It is not 'sided' as far as I understand it - you can stick pretty much any pattern flasher on these as a replacement.

checked the earth on the rear indicator, that was OK. I thought I'd look at the switchgear, looked in there. Poked the multimeter around... relay started working! poked a bit more, WD40 sprayed. hey Presto. indicators working. More WD40 dispensed, all put back together.
