bought d600 and it came with brand new B45 on thr front with a conti-go on the rear. looking closely the rear has little patches on the rubber with perrish marks, not down in the grooves but on the raised surface. The tyre is 2008 so not that old and is less than half way through its life so was wandering whether to bin it and put a new B45 on the back as a matching pair or see how the conti wears, my guess is possibly someone previously spilt something onto the rubber.

The BT45 although an old design of tyre is still regarded by many as one of the best tyres for the D6, the Conti-Go is more modern - so it's down to price and your own preference really. I'm sure someone will give you their thoughts of whether it's worth sticking with the Contis instead.

I had what might be a similar thing with the front Conti Road Attack on my D9 - see photo: I referred this to Continental who said it was not a problem and I could carry on riding on it. They didn't explain what might have caused it. but it never got any worse so I just ignored it.

BT45's are an old design, but then there is nothing cutting-edge about the 600 Divvy They work exceptionally well, and they are the only tyre I would fit to a 600 Divvy. Then again I never tried the Conti's. Whatever you do though, dodge Avons!
