Hi Have had to replace the rotten exhaust on my D6, the new exhaust is a 4 into 1 coming up the offside of the bike. I now have the centre stand sticking out along way from the frame ( obviously it was designed to come out past the origional pipe on the nearside. It does look unsightly now and was wandering if there is another stand i could use or adapt the origional stand.
Any suggestions ?

Good question - I'm really glad you raised this cos I'm not far off needing to replace mine and I had never thought of this issue.

I think most take the centre stand off because there's no 'stop' rubber for it as there's no silencer on the left hand side so it floats up and down? Just a guess! Could always put a 4 into 2 back on......? I'll get my coat! ;D

If i had realised this before I would probably of ordered a 4 into 2, there is a stop on the off side built into the new pipe, it just looks a bit unsightly because it sticks out so far, i might cut the bit off you put your foot on, to put bike onto stand and get it welded straight onto nearside leg of the centre stand, just so its still there if needed.
On the ferrys do you use centre stand, side stand or no stand just ratchet straps.

Use the cushions if they're available to stop abraisions on your bike. Pilgrim.
