I only came over to the church of the four stroke to enlighten those who walk in the dark. Plus where the hell do you get a 900cc stroker these days? Seriously if Mrs Satnav would allow more than one bike I would have a small stroker to play with. Don't tell her, when she notices say 'oh this old thing I've had it for ages' seems to work for women's wardrobe contents, if they think we're that gullible then they must be too. Although us guys don't like to admit it, largely 'cos it's not very alpha maleish, but our women folk are much smarter than we are. Learnt that many years ago,and since accepting this realisation life is so much easier. Although I do seem to have got away with the washing machine incident from a couple of weeks back. Perhaps the HRT patches have diminished her super powers. Or is she just letting me think I have? BTW the 70's small four strokes weren't just dull, our recent weather is dull. They were dire. Can't beat the sound of a stroker at full chat and the smell of Castrol R.

Can't beat the sound of a stroker at full chat and the smell of Castrol R. Always loved 'em, started with an old Excelsior 100 2-speed that a mate gave me in the 60's to get it out of his shed, continued with a Yam YDS7, Suzi GT500 and at least half a dozen MZ's. Even did a bit of courier-ing around London in the 70's on a MZ TS250. Reading the recent posts on the up-coming Tiddler Challenge and the chat about 100cc strokers got me perusing Ebay for a likely tool, not sure 'er indoors would stand for it! But like Bev's ruse "Oh that old thing! Had it for ages!"
