It's 1 degree now with a forecast of -3 for the morning. I will perform the wheelie bin test first thing, if I can lift the lid, I may get the bike out, if it's stuck with ice, i'll go back to bed

Managed a little unscheduled practice today, with young Fiasco. Roads were fine : 'Mega' Breakfast seemed to go down well, too, with the kid who loves his porridge ;D:

On a serious note, whilst I'd love to see you all in the morning, please remember that this, like all our runs, is meant to be an enjoyable ride & not something which should take you outside your comfort zone. So please take account of your local conditions when setting out & if you feel OK to travel thats great - but please be steady & allow plenty of time to arrive, including the odd 'warm-up' stop if needed. ************ if it ain't fun, you ain't doing it right ************ The run will terminate at 15:30hours so that you have some daylight with which to start your journeys home. I look forward to seeing those of you who can make it .

Whey hey, what a laugh !!
Just climbed out of a hot bath with what seems to be frostbitten or heated grip bitten finger tips - or maybe I bit my fingers in the rush to get the mega brekky in my gob !!
Some great roads where you simply HAVE to ride smoothly ! Was surprised how few slides we had despite the roads looking very testing. The road in Martin's pic was the snowiest yet grippiest of the lot - go figure !!
Looking forward to same again tomorrow, Matt, Andy, Clive, Rowan etc hope you can all make it, would be a shame to be just me and Martin again (much as I love him, I just can't discuss meaty brunches with him!)
Safe trip to all that set of in our direction.
Dave

WARNING - I managed to purchase the matching trousers today, bring your sunnies On a serious note sun glasses would be useful, much of this mornings ride was into a low sun ! Dave

Damn that mad blundering, incredibly handsome young nincompoop seems to have added me to the sign up sheet...
Does that mean i'm now committed to going to bed early...
as long as i can get to the main road i don't see any reason why i'll not turn up, looking forward to meeting up with all that attend, seems a while since the last get together.
