Hi, I dont know if you still want to know but as a veterinary nurse I could help you a bit with ferrets. If you are keeping ferrets as pets its best to have them both neutered, they both come into season and even if the male is vasectomised he will still behave and smell as a normal male ferret would. The female will have a seaon from March to August and if she is not mated will cause serious health problems which is why males are vasectomised and put with females (he can still mate and therefore bring her out of season). There is a good website you can look at (The British Ferret club). Also instead of neutuering the female you can get injections called the 'Jill jab' to stop her staying in season. Sorry if this is boring! Just want to help!

Ive had a ferret for the last 18 1/2 yrs, and now shes going to university ill have the garage to myself again!!

ferrets how very up north if u keep them together
nature will do its bit and there will be lots of baby
ferrets but u could sell the little ones to some
eccki thump up north
