Started work on my baby today.. or should I say my brother did...
Got wheel off to fix the perished valve and while doing so was going to fit my new shocks and Andrew thought it would be good to get the swingarm off and check it all.
All ok, but the swingarm and frame have been attacked with rust
It's still solid but rust has definitely been busy as it's all under the paintwork and not isolated. So since i've got the rear end off... the front forks have also got to be done.. so decided we're gonna strip it and get the frame and swingarm blasted and coated ;D
Shouldn't be too much cost wise (hopefully) but that means no CX for a while and now we've started runs season i'm guessing that's going to be a very long while......
Had some fun with it today though. Started it up without the left hand silencer on. Sounds like a Harley.... but better
