Hi I,m new to this forum and would like to say hello to you all, I have just traded my honda cb250 for a R reg diversion 600s, my cb250 was so clinical and faultless it made me forget about bikes for months on end, even though i rode it every day to work and back, since getting my d6 I,ve never been happier every spare minute has me out with the araldite and sellotape adjusting something or other, I,d forgotten what a bike with character was like to own, from the bag of bolts tickover to the stand on lever gearchange its won me over big time but I have one thing that has me at a loss, when I bought it,it was running ok but I now experince a faint surging at a given revs very faint but noticeable, you can almost see the speedo needle fluttering with the surges, but when you wind on the power the surging is less evident, could it be the carbs? or something electrical? starts first time every morning any advice apprecated

Could well just be down to having out of balance carbs - get 'em balanced and see how it is then...

Balancing the carbs always makes sense if they've not been done for ages. Also check the throttle position sensor (a 5 minute task).

Hi Summerking The problem with your Div 6 could be a number of things, and getting the carbs balanced as suggested is a good start. If you are new to jobs like carb balancing and adjusting the throttle position sensor (easy job) then a smart move would be to buy Reapers excellent Divi 600 Maintenance DVDs. Path to the Shop is: Members/Meet The Managers/What's New (I think!). And welcome to the YDC Jim
