I am now showing ' Harley Rider ' on my posts. Can I ask Management to change it. I am not a Harley Davidson fan. In fact I dislike them and the whole Harley thing. Posers bikes.
I think TJ63 voiced a similar opinion recently.
So why not change it to something with real street cred? Something that will reflect my status as a 'mature experienced motorcyclist'
FAZER RIDER !! It has to be. It's such an obvious choice I'm surprised Management did'nt use it from the start!
;D ;D ;D

The real problem's gonna come when the regualrs get to really big posting levels. I reckon the Divvy 600 is the pinacle. It was out first, it's available naked and it was the first in a raft of retro bike. However you could make the case that the D900 is the pinacle -shaft drive and bigger engine.
Maybe we should be able to choose our own.

Take the A and the E out of Fazer and you get a proper bike, for young good-looking hooligans like me ;D

Cheers

Then again you could use it as a form of punishment. Instead of being doofered you could be de classified. Let's say swearing could bring you down to a moped rider. Posting too many animated smilies could bring you down to a piza delivery boy. The ultimate shame could be to have to ride a three wheeler.

I couldn't agree more.
The shamefull act of posting just to get your count up should be discouraged at every opportunity

It would be showing a bit too much favouritism to make it "Fazer Rider", so how is that now, Jim?
Trevor
"Posers bikes" is not as bad as what my wife calls them!

So what happens when someone else gets something they don`t like do we change that as well.
Harley Rider may not be to every ones taste but as said by others Post more to get to the next level.
It`s just a bit of light hearted fun.

you could just post then delete. but you have to leave at least 15 seconds between posts. Then you'll be able to increase your count by about 4 per minute. use one of the test threads and delete your posts afterwards. your count stays up and the dodgy replies are cleaned up! Simple! not that I've done this Andy

It`s just a bit of light hearted fun. Hang on Paul - you can't have it both ways - I thought swearing was banned on here, and as far as I'm concerned, H&%ley is definitely a swear word. And an insult to most self-respecting bike riders. Or do I have to get MY coat? Trevor

I for one don't have a problem with it. Although it will only serve as an encouragement to visit and post a LOT more.

Well actually as the "grades" start in generic format, why cannot they retain that genneric format? It is only the Hardly Rider really that causes offence..............

Trev did more miles last year on me divvie than on me Fazer, riding the divvie makes it much more worthwile riding the fazer, you then appreciate the effortless power and brakes, that actually brake, bikes sure have moved on since the divvie was designed ;D
