Even today Saturday, I was out there in the garden trying to cure a misfire on my Aprilia 500 Scoot, it didn't however I replaced the original air box with a K&N one , the slight banging and popping on the overrun and if I don't feather the brakes and apply some revs leads it to stall, however being a tight git was still aiming to try get to the Premier Inn for tomorrow's run.
Even after a nap and a soak in the bath I was working out that I could get there, however perhaps fortuitously, a nephew called round and he was saying suppose you have to stop suddenly, and put feet down then of course the crutches have to be accommodated .
I was glad he called apart from being nice to have a chat, because the reality is much as it grieves me to not be taking part yet again, and admit defeat, the truth is the Spirit is willing however the flesh maybe isn't as yet and better to relearn the walking bit afore attempting any running.
Oh well all out planning needed then to try ensure presence on the Tiddler run in September, barring further mishaps.
Good luck and safe riding guys, tomorrow, Wodgers charity helmut will be in evidence, as hopefully will I in the not too distant future. Forecast looking good thinking of you all GAVin

Hope everyone had a good trip and bimble today.
We aren't on the run this year as (Sod's Law) Ade broke his right ankle about 6 weeks ago (his 'good' leg, after crocking his left knee 2 years ago  ) so is strapped up & he's not able to ride. Were so hoping it would work out but, no. We hoped to see you all at the start at the Griff but I've been delayed with some freelance work, I'm running late and still at home this evening (nearly 11pm). 
If anyone sees this who can help, can someone please post a rough idea of the time you might be at Wellesbourne? If we can't make the start we were thinking of looking out for you all there but don't know if it's a 'fag break' or lunch stop. Either an open message or a PM, if the route is being kept under wraps. Will keep checking - just hope someone see this.... 
Anyway, wishing you all a wunderful wun tomorrow!
