So you couldn't find anyone to share a room with then ? I *think* Ian might have sort-of offered, not sure . But I was supposed to find room for me & fltmo, & had no joy . Well it is a twin family room, that I requested, if that helps, But I don't share a bed, so if it ends up a double, then I get the pull out, otherwise I get a single

We could make fltmo sleep on the landing outside, whilst exploiting him for taxi fares !

Feeling a bit Pis*ed off with the weather forecast for the run, it keeps changing but at the moment it looks like a bad one. Could be thunder storms after 1pm hope its going to change.

Unless it's actually tipping down when I need to leave home (8:30am), I'll be there at the start and take a chance on the weather
[There's no such thing as bad weather - just inappropriate clothing !]

Have a good run. Sorry I'm not able make this one, having spent more than à few years of my life in the area based at Shawbury, but I'm on nights at the mo.
Hope the weather turns out to be nice after all.

They're only about an hour north of me so I hope their waterproofs work. Could be some steamed up helmets methinks.

Great ride out thanks Gary, and somehow we managed to dodge most of the rain! I only took one picture

Surprisingly the weather wasn't too bad. A few showers, some of them quite heavy, but very mild temperatures The most significant factor (IMHO) though was the road surfaces - mostly wet or damp (only a few miles were reliably dry), with quite a bit of debris (gravel, acorns, mud etc) to keep runsters on their toes.
