wondering and hoping someone here can help please. I,m doing a 24 hour end to end john o groates to lands end cancer reasearch charity ride on june the 21 with my young son. Can anyone help with some sort of luggage rack to fit my bike, either top rack and fittings or wing rack with fittings. I have the actual boxes just need all the metal work. Don't want to buy new as they cost a fortune on ebay and the whole idea of this ride is the cost of buying and prepping the bike can cost no more than £300, basically all 30 odd bikes doing it are shitters lol, more of the ride csan be found on the performance bikes forum under the heading "the longest day down", all the best.

I think I have a Wing Rack and 1995 fitting kit in the garage which you can borrow. I think a '95 kit will fit a '93', but if it doesn't I probably have a Universal fitting kit. I'm a bit of a Givi magpie.
I'm in Worcester - are you anywhere close?

That sounds great unfortunately I,m Newcastle tyne and wear. The post I put here yesterday seems to have failed. Anyway, I had a search though my garage and found:
Almost all of the major parts for the upto-1995 fitting kit.
Complete spare Wingrack - both sides, both top-plate supports and top plate.
Probably complete universal fitting kit.
The parts which are missing are just nuts, bolts and washers which could be bought from Screwfix. I have been meaning to put these on E-bay for some time, so I will have a think about a price. In the meantime, you are welcome to borrow the whole lot for a few weeks. No deposit needed. PM me your address and I will sort out postage.
