Anyone got a pair of twin exhaust silencers knocking about? Looking to replace my motad 4 into 1 with some originals so my pannier system can fit  Probably sell on the motad if i can find some |

Which pannier system are you using?
I had a problem with my Givi E50s touching my aftermarket exhaust (not sure which make). I designed some adaptor plates which raised the panniers about 2 inches. I made them up in MDF to ensure that they worked, then had them made in steel plate by an engineering workshop.

They are Hepco and becker, that expensive german brand.. Problem is with where they mount, doesnt really allow me to make any brackets. Mounting points are on the rear footpeg and the bolt hole underneath the seat/rear fairing. They fit very closely to the bike, so the brackets would have to come out and then up. They fit with the original pipes, but because the motad system is 2in longer and 4in higher... it fouls the rack itself, left alone with the boxes fitted  |
