The hoses are crimped on but can be cut away carefully. Get some flouro lined (for oil) silicone hose from Auto Silicone Hoses. The bottom end will need the oil filter boss taking off. Well thanks for that idea that sounds like a plan, guessed the housing had to come off one allen bolt is well hidden, just changed the oil and filter too doh!, all the best.

With the front wheel on some bricks the oil wont leak out. Its a bit of a pain but well worth the effort. If the pipes are rusty use 10mm copper and join with the flouro silicone. But if the oil cooler is looking sick it will probably crack if you undo the banjos. Then its a bigger job with new cooler brackets etc. A copper loop between the filter pipes will keep the oil flowing so you can at least use the bike.
