hoping somebody can help, recently aquired a 1992 600 in a sorry state, almost got her back together, problm i have is that the loom has been well chopped with most of the connectors removed, can anybody tell me the ignitor pin location for the wires as they connect to the ignitor, have looked at loads of wiring diagrams but non of them are specific as to which wire goes to which pin, i know which wires are for what but not where they connect in the back of the box, any help gratefully recieved

If the loom has been butchered it might make more sense to fit a replacement. Who knows what horrors are lurking within.

I've found the loom to be very confusing (when tring to find a fault). With the connectors missing too then well I don't think you'll find much deep knowledge here. It's not impossible though........ A complete loom might be your best bet as CD says. Good luck.

New loom. Cut out any unnecessary connectors solder and heat shrink sleeve the wires. Check all other connectors for corrosion and replace. Check for any rubbed areas and repair as needed. The new loom should then outlast the bike.
