Hi,
Bet you've heard this one before, but my diversion rattles. (So do 90% of diversions) I know this is not a fatal problem to the engine but It's extremely annoying.
I have a rather nice predator exhaust system that gets drowned out during slow speed riding by this deadly horrible noise. I know it's to do with a dowel behind the clutch but I am not a mechanic and am going to pay for somebody else to do this. The problem is I can't find a mechanic willing to machine the dowel them self, my trusted local motorbike engineer says he would be happy to strip down and fit it but not actually create it.
I make a plea to ANYONE that has done this before to offer me some suggestions. Are you anywhere near borehamwood (WD6, UK). Can I pay you to do the job or can you tell me somewhere to buy this pin.
Im quite handy with crafting tools so do not mind machining it out of a drill bit etc but I wont be fitting it. This obviously creates the problem of not knowing how big the hole has become.
Many thanks, I know this is silly, but I'm gonna throw out a trusty spam risk and advertise that my mobile is 07506230892. Send me a text if you can help!
Oly

There's an excellent vid somewhere on here, I'll see if I can locate it.
From memory I believe a 5.5mm drill bit shank is used.
