I had Blue Wire Syndrome on my 96 Divvy 600.
RH side, inside the side panel is a row of 3 or 4 electrical bits. Most have a few wires, but one of them has about 12 wires going in via a block connector.
One wire was so corroded that it fell to bits. I've bodged it with a bit of wire and some sticky tape.
Is there any option for replacing the whole block connector, apart from trying to find one on a scrapper? If so - what's it called? I don't mind spending up to a couple of bob.
Or am I better just doing a better class of bodge?

Cut the connector out then solder and heatshrink, that's what I do

Also, there's enough room to replace the connector with a couple of cheapy ones, available widely [1], so that you can still unplug should the need ever arise.
[1] Most car accessory shops, & plenty on Ebay etc.

The connector under the tank is only there for factory assembly. It can be chopped out and replaced with heat shrink sleeved joints. Maplins sell all sorts of connectors. Also this lot. www.autoelectricsupplies.co.uk/category/1
