Hi all,
i was just wondering if anyone has ever tried to put a slip on end can on the downpipes from the motad nexxus system? obviously no one makes a slip on for that system, but maybe another one would fit? i would go for a nice shiny full system but it's just too much money. if i can't do it its not the end of the world but it would be nice

Can you measure the circumference? Would be a good starting-point to see what's about that might slip on .

I think the issue is sorting out a suitable link pipe. The joint on the Nexxus system is down below the engine: So the link pipe would need to be quite long - as well as being the right angle/offset. Anyone who's tried to bodge a non-standard pipe will tell you this is a lot more critical than it looks! I know there have been one or two suggestions in the past recommending people who could make a bespoke system or parts thereof, so I wouldn't rule it out completely.

I'm affraid there's one more problem with this system, I have the same one, the pipes are "4 into 2" not "4 into 2 into 1"
The the can its self is 2 into 1 (fecked up I know) Get under the bike and have a look, you'll need a "Y" piece makeing up, this is on my list of things to do when I get a new welder in January. They really didn't want people using rival cans on there systems.
