Hi All,
First time post for me....
I purchased a spotless Green 600s last year, in advance of passing my DAS (which Im 2/3 way through now). Sadly, and rather stupidly, I lent my beautiful bike to a mate, who managed to ride it all of 10 feet before dropping it.
The damage is mostly cosmetic, although handle bars, indicator and break lever have had to be replaced. The fairing and exhaust can took a wallop too, but Im going to live with them. The worrying part is the fairing frame. Im trying to square it up, and thought I'd managed it, until I noticed that the clocks appear to sit a way off centre to the left (looking forward). Im being told this is possibly as designed, but I'm not sure. Any advice would be gratefully received.
I have to say, Im very impressed with the content of the forum - already picked up loads of good info.
Regards
Alistair
Ooops - its a 2000 Diversion 600

Lesson learnt. Drop it, you bought it or kipoffamabike.
I'm pretty sure the fairing frame is bent. When its straight, the main plastic should line up without problem at all mounting holes.
Take everything off then put the frame back on the bike. Keep trying the main plastic and bending the frame until it fits. There are no short cuts (do it, bit by bit) other than a new (straight) frame.
