xj600 s single exhaust conversion

is it possible to go from two exhausts to one on a p-reg 600 and if yes what else do you need to change?

Yes it is possible and there are a few threads on here which show different systems. I kept to two silencers when the old ones rotted but I know there can be issues with the oil drain plug pôsition and the need for a centre stand stop when the lhs silencer is missing. Surmountable problems though so don't go off the idea. ;D

Hopefully a 4-1 expert will be along to guide you more.

nexxus systems are good they have a centre stand stop, but the oil drain bolt is alot harder to get to with this system, still do able though

Motad's cans aer chromed and rot, and they use a really ugly mainstand bracket.

I was lucky that my XJ had a remus full 4-1 on it, didn't mess with anything, sounded OK (for what an XJ is) and didn't rot. Perfect. Can't imagine who ever bought that sort of kit new for what is basically a budget hack though.
