Is it normal for these bikes (D600) to have a noisy clutch? If I didn't know better I'd have said it sounded like a dry one...

You ain't heard nothing 'til you've been next to a dry-clutch Ducati - it's, like, "Where's that pneumatic drill?"

Funnily enough I queried a rattle from Flymo's bike (D600) when stationery, only last weekend.
He pulled in the clutch lever and smiled -"They all do it " he said.

Well of the three engine i've had they all do / did it, as do / have many other D6 engine, my solution earplugs and music ;D Whilst i'm led to believe that This Fix can cure ( to a degree ) it's not really worth doing unless you happen to be re-newing clutch components anyway.

i have witnessed a bike which has had that fix, done professionally by a garage, with great success, i almost had it done on mine when i heard how quiet and smooth it sounded.

Do it anyway. The clutch is easy enough to remove and it gives chance to grease and/or replace the release bearing and the release lever mechanism bearings.
