hi does any one know of a refurbishment kit for a 98 600 rear master cylinder ? have found some but they seem to be about £50 - 70 which seems a bit much cheers

hi does any one know of a refurbishment kit for a 98 600 rear master cylinder ? have found some but they seem to be about £50 - 70 which seems a bit much cheers Yamaha rear master cylinders are in general, two types, top hose entry or side hose entry, they may have longer bottom fitting, or a longer resevoir hose, but the basic unit is one or the other, and the different bits can be changed for the origonal so as the diversion 600 is top entry, then this should work www.ebay.co.uk/itm/YAMAHA-FZ6-FZ6N-REAR-MASTER-CYLINDER-/390092094510?pt=UK_Motorcycle_Parts&hash=item5ad34cfc2emy Diversion 900 is fitted with a fazer 1000 one and works fine, just buy one from a fairly new model that looks the same and save yourself the bother of taking it apart

When I recently stripped my 900 rear brake lever I was surprised to see it's got a Brembo rear brake master cylinder. If you can find the cylinder bore, new seals etc may be cheaper from such as Aprilia.

sorry for the delay I've been away on hols , does any one know if a 2009 xj600 master cylinder would be a straight swap ? on the 98 model
