I have changed the fork seals on my 600 93 div. i have ridden less than 50 miles and i have a leaking one again. there was no sign of scoring and i am sure i put the correct amount of fork oil in. Is this a problem that is known of or do i need to just try again. (what would be the suggested amount of oil as i took it off of a web page which i suppose could have been wrong) thankyou

It's best to measure the oil by checking the level, rather than putting in a certain amount as that depends on whether all the old oil came out.
Figures are in Haynes.

The capacity from dry is 379cc, which should leave the oil level 111mm below the top when fork is fully compressed and the spring is out ( according to haynes )

Often the fork leg area between the fork yokes (triple clamps) can be pitted so its not possible to slide on new seals without knicking the seal lips.
Sometimes an old seal can be drilled and pulled out with a self tapping screw. But fork seals are so close to the fixed leg you run a serious risk of catching the chrome with the drill.
If the fork leg chrome is pitted, where the seals move over, the new seals wont last for long. Even dulling the edges of the chip with a fine oil stone is unlikely to help.
