94 model UK CDI unit part no.

Hi Folks

New to the forum as I bought a 94 Divvy just before Christmas and may have a dodgy CDI unit (or it mat be coils) and would like to know the part number for a 94 CDI unit. Got one off of Ebay and it's either knackered or the wrong one.

I'm assuming you mean for an XJ600SF 1994 divvy, the igniter drive unit part number is probably 4DU-82305-00

Thanks for the info, I've been checking on the Net and there seem to be various numbers for this part so I might contact Yamaha UK and find out how there numbering system works as I think some of the digits are batch or production numbers. I've now got another CDI unit which I'll try at the weekend.

Check the wiring first. On an 18 years old bike, all sorts of faults can crop up.
