I know what type of oil i need ie 20w40 and 10w30 but do i use fully symthetic or semi symthetic cheers

Semi synthetic is fine. The engine isn't highly tuned enough to warrant fully synthetic.

And 10w40 is probably easier to find, and will do for all year round.

I'm running Halford's own brand since it's cheap and cheerful. No problems to report so far.
