It'd be better than the Chinese one, probably. Best bet is original.
In fact, the best bet is to leave it alone unless it gets warped. Which I think is pretty rare on these bikes, if the caliper is kept in good condition?
The reason I say this is you are very unlikely to get all 6 bolts out without snapping any. If you are determined to try, go at it with the big guns from the beginning: lots of heat, days and days soaking in penetrating oil, well-fitting allen sockets. You know the drill. It is much easier that way than subsequently trying to removing threadlocked stubs of snapped bolts.

Does anybody have any experience with Sandy bikes spares brake disks? I've bought two sets of front discs from them, for Fazers. No probs & looked very OEM. Very quick to deliver, both times.

I need to replace mine too, they are both more ridgy than a crinkle cut crisp. Found these on ebay and wondered if anyone had used them, or had any advice? Front brake disc left right for YAMAHA XJ DIVERSION S/N 600 98-03 99 00 01 02

Sandy Bikes are a good lot. My discs from Zone Products have done well but being iron they do rust. Flood the old bolts from the back with easing oil (e.g. PlusGas etc) then use my welding technique on the bolt heads to heat them and break any seizure. Its a bit of a faff especially if you have to use the local garage to do the welding but it will loosen any stuck bolts. Just make sure the hex socket isn't filled! Replace with button head stainless and thread lock. Horrendous error corrected
