hi all got a major problem some low life has made a mess of my bike xj600s an done a job on all my pipe work i put new fuel lines in its just carb pipes an breathers i cant work them out does any one have any photos close ups of what goes where an how to route it work shop manual is use less any help would be good thanks dave

you say you have put in your fuel lines so not sure what info you need. so i'll just run through what i can see.
Air box breather tube goes from left side of airbox, underneath fuel pump, over starter and thru metal loop below rear brake pedal. fuel pipe is routed from carbs to front of fuel pump (left side). another pipe goes from right hand outlet of fuel pump to filter. another pipe goes from rear of filter, thru loop underneath fuel pump bracket and into fuel tap. there is another pipe which goes from the lowest point on the fuel tap to the point at the rear of carb no 1 (left side).
another pipe goes from underneath fuel tank and runs out to underneath bike between rear of engine and swingarm. not sure what thats for. hope this helps.

hi many thanks for that an it was a great help how ever i have just found out why i could not work this out i took off the carbs an looked at the plpes on the under side an i found out that the previous owner had took them to bits an put all the carb bases on in the wrong order so l could not repipe an breathers in the right order any way i hate it when things are not put back right lol  many thanks dave |
