Final Recce today Sorted a few things out, The Duncome House and Seaways Cafe stops in the afternoon have both been scrubbed for particular reasons to be replaced by a single break at the Fairfax Arms at Gilling East, leaving a final 50 mile run to Beverley. The roads were generally very good with only the odd section of rain washed gravel. There's potholed damaged tarmac at the very bottom of the Chimney and tarmac is still rippled over certain parts of the Moors. Oh, and the sheep were out and about as ever. ;D But, in todays' sunshine the carpets of purple heather over the Moors made them look enchanting. Oh, and Sunday is now 09.45am brief for 10.15am wheels If the sun blesses us once again, it'll be stunning run. Neil

Did try to get last minute acccomodation for this but it's Bluddy impossible. Couldn't you have centred round somewhere where the population is more than 10 people and 10,000 sheep ? Have a good one, we have a weather warning for this weekend now.

It took some hunting down, but I found a B&B just over 5 miles from Beverley - not ideal but at least it's not camping!!
