Arh arh arh...
Nope, let's forget any wise cracks about melted pistons, burnt valves, and all that! The point of the system I'm testing is that it performs without these conditions! So I'll be running the engine very lean with complete combustion and very efficient power capture from the fuel burnt.
Well, we'll see won't we.
Anyone got some constructive/supportive information now that Bev has got that one in

Should be very very interesting if you can make it work. It'll run hot though surely, so an air cooled engine might be a poor place to begin. The standard jetting sizes are listed in the Haynes, which you can buy (eBay) or I think you can download at repairmanualclub? Why not start from that and go down a size or two? Is it secret, or you fancy sharing your ideas? The worst we can do is tell you in three sentences why it won't work

Nothing secret! www.aquapulser.com sells a Plasma ignition module to generate a much moee energetic spark which ignites more fuel at the ignition point and generates a much bigger flame front as well to give absolute complete combustion quickly (hence retarded timing) and means no fuel is wasted.
Regarding the hot running, I still don't fully understand this phenomenon, if anyone can shed some light. But, my intention with this ignition system is to run ICEs on water. I am currently doing this work for my Uni thesis using a petrol generator engine as a test mule. Not there yet, but will be shortly. You can run an engine on water (not HHO or electrolysis) using the Plasma to dissociate the water molecules from liquid (vapourised droplets in the intake air) to gas instantaneously (much faster than petrol, needing ignition well after TDC!) by the effect of the Plasma on water molecules.
The science, if anyone is interested, is that water is made up of 2 bond types, covalent bonds holt the 2 Hydrogen and 1 Oxygen molecules together in each molecule, but the the molecules are di-poles (magnetically polar) and this gives water it's excellent attraction forces, surface tension, cohesion, solutility etc. This magnetic polar attraction force is the one keeping it in a liquid state. Plasma is the 4th state of matter after a gas, basically it is when the electrons are stripped fromt he nucleus o the atoms and result in highly volatile and reactive charged particles blasting around in the PLasma 'gas' cloud. Now the water is magnetically polar, and the Plasma is magnetically charged and highly volatile, blasting around rapidly in the Plasma state, when introduced the Plasma's charged particles instantly overcome the Polar attraction of the water molecules and they violently seperate from one another, expanding rapidly by about 1600 times the volume, giving incredible puushing force.
Now everyone will say you can't have something for nothing, but the water molecules quickly return to liquid (vapour) when their magnetic attraction returns and the molecules recombine. This is because all around us, inteh atmosphere, the universe and in everything, matter has gravitational (magnetic) energy, and the molecules simply absorb a bit of this to treturn to equilibrium (same as heat would transfer through air until there is equilibrium and the air is all teh same temperature) and so the water returns to a liquid.
There is no 'burning' of water or weird splitting of water into H2 and O2 (requires significant energy, same as electrolysis...) before it burns again and the water molecules themselves are unchanged and can be used again and again!
So that's the basic theory, it requires refinement and adjustment to suit each engine, but works and has been done before plenty times.
The controversy: no authority or government will sanction or support this technology because it would screw the world over by killing off their tax incomes and fortunes made from oil, which is why this is not mainstream. It's been about for ages, just continually suppressed no end. Guys are doing it themselves at home secretly to keep from attack or suppression and succeeding but you won't hear about it except on the few forums dedicated to it.
Anyway, I'll let everyone know how I get on and maybe one of these days I'll have a water powered Divvy ;-)
