Hi there! I'm looking for someone who can easily (hope so...) explain me differences between a US Yamaha XJ 600 Seca II and EU version Diversion in more than 2 words? What I found in my bike (US model from 1996) up to today - base on manual only - is different chain tensioning system and some slight differences in fairing/headlight and also my bike has only one front disc breake instead on two like in same EU models from this time. Is there something more which I had not discovered yet ? I'm not a pro biker, more like newbie but do not hesitate to use pro details.

The Divvy had single discs until 1997, so no worries there.
There are definitely differences on the later bike as the EU bike got an oil cooler and the USA bike didn't.
Other than that I think the main difference is colour schemes??

Yep, single disc is still better than no disc Regarding color scheme - my bike is black, surfing via net and trying to get answer about differences I had not found source about SecaII paintings. In my manual also there is lack of details which colors (colors numbers?) were used in which models etc. Talking about oil cooler - is it a disadvantage or maybe there is no difference for the user? Should I expect to have eg. high oil temp during summer and expect overheating from time to time? (my 1st season with this bike is ahead of me . . .)
