D 9 Handlebars

Hi All, does anyone know if 900 bars will fit a 600 as I saw a 900 at Hemswell Cliff car boot yesteday and the bars were much higher than the 600. Me being very tall I find I'm squatting a little which puts a bit of pressure on my wrists while riding??

I know i can but risers as i did this on my previous GS 500.

Don't know. Worth noting though that the bars on early / late 600's are different as they changed the switchgear to put the choke lever on the bar, and this means the holes are drilled different. I found that out the hard way.

Thanks Amorti, never thought o that mines a 97 with the choke on the handlebars and Hazard lights.

I'd guess the 900 bars should fit then. But you could always drill another hole, or take the peg off the switchgear. Both bodges, I grant you (before someone else gets that in).
