Downright nonsensical, or just untrue, Ebay descriptions sometimes make me wonder how other peoples' brain's work. Just seen this one today: "new tyres new down pipes on exhaust new chain and sprockets new break discs and pads new seals fitted to the forks as well ....that was all back in 2008" ......... as 2008 was some time ago, when does 'new' stop being 'new' ? Another one, also seen today: "HAS DEVELOPED A FLAT SPOT IN THE MID RANGE, BUT STILL RUNS LIKE A WATCH" What sort of watch would that be then ? Watch this space for more 'creative' descriptions. Or post your own .

I have been to see bikes which are described as Immaculate or Mint condition only to be disappointed

"Comes to you BRAND NEW and SEALED..."

There is a 600s which seems to have been on e-bay for months, described as having 'slight damage'. Literally half of the fairing is missing.

And some sellers are less than totally honest in responding to questions. I have been looking for a Givi Wingrack mounting kit for months to fit my new 2002 600S. I know that frame changes which were part of the 1996 update mean that the kit for pre-1996 bikes will not fit post-96 bikes because I tried to fit the kit that I saved from my 95 bike won't fit. One private seller told me that he had personally used the kit that he was selling on both pre- and post-96 bikes, and a dealer told me that his kit came off an early bike, but that Yamaha made no changes to the frame in the update so his kit would fit all bikes.

If anyone's going to disrespect my bike on this forum, it's going to be me. As it should be - a very fair description . I like the ad - congrats on the MOT .
