Hi Guys, Decided to start getting the bike ready for its MOT so I have a couple of questions How do you change the front sidelight bulb ?? Do you have to take the fairing off ? (surely not..) Put new pads in the rear brake but now its binding (badly!) being crap with mechanical things, how easy is it to strip and clean the calliper/pistons ? Never done it before but thought it probably time to learn Cheers Adbru

Side light is on a rubber fitting that pushes into the bottom of the headlight.
Rear brake will need to be stripped. If its not too bad you could re-use the seals. Otherwise use Yamaha seals. Not cheap but they are sure to fit.
I had my caliper powder coated while it was stripped but dont forget mask off all surfaces and holes where the paint shouldn't go. I had all the brake brackets and the caliper haves done for £20 and it lasts much longer than paint.

No worries. Next time an LED sidelight might save some hassle
