Day_1 - Part_2In this episode, Tigger and I travel from Tigroney West Mine near Avoca and onto Bunclody where I take the road up Mount Leinster and head through the mist once again to see the Nine Stones. From there I head south to New Ross and visit the Dunbrody Famine Ship, then head down to catch the ferry to East Passage and ending at Tramore. The weather is improving as the day goes on and the roads are drying nicely. Route for Day 1 from Dublin to Cork.www.google.com/maps/d/edit?mid=1cTzkSJgY_cn_w5w-8fUwZI8PohKwR4s&usp=sharingNine Stones, Mount Leinster

On 11th April 1912 at 11.30am RMS Titanic dropped anchor just off Roches Point. Two tenders took 123 passengers and nearly 1,400 sacks of mail out to the Titanic from Cobh, (then known as Queenstown). It would be the last port of call for the ill fated Titanic.
The WHITE STAR LINE building is now the Titanic Experience Museum in Cobh.

Day_2 - Part_1.In this episode I Leave the Shandon Bells Guest House in Cork and head south to Kinsale and onto a rather misty Kinsale Head. Unfortunately you can no longer visit the lighthouse due to the arseholes that now own the golf club, just another reason to hate golf/golfers. From here I head west to Killbrittain to see the whale, then slowly make my way along the coast to Red Strand Beach. Unfortunately the weather remained misty with the odd clear spell, so not much to see with regards to the scenery. Just watched day 2. That's some nice little roads. Seemed to have dried up quite nicely as the ride progressed 🙂. (Great quality vid, watched on my 50inch telly!) Cheers Martin. The weather gets better after Day 2. Video is in 2.7K. Apparently, anything greater is a waste. The Technical stuff. The human eye can see 4K resolution when the gaze is still, but only if visual acuity is 20/20 or higher. If the gaze is moving, human eyes can see more than 8K resolution.
When comparing 4K and other resolutions, you also need a high visual acuity and/or a short viewing distance.
Technically, your eyes would be able to see all the pixels in 8K resolution if your gaze was moving, but you probably wouldn’t want to constantly move your gaze while looking at a screen.
An 8K display has roughly eight times as many pixels as a 4K display. This totals to an amazing 33 million pixels, or 33 megapixels!
If your gaze is still (which is usually the case when you’re watching a show or working on a computer), your eyes won’t be able to see all of the pixels.
In fact, even if you have a visual acuity of 20/20 or higher, you’d still only see less than half of the pixels!
Again, your eyes would be able to see all the pixels in 4K resolution if your gaze was moving, but that would make for a strange viewing experience.
A 4K display has roughly four times as many pixels as a 2K display, which totals to around 8 million pixels, or 8 megapixels!
If your gaze is still, your eyes might be able to see all of the pixels. However, this is only if your visual acuity is 20/20 or higher, which isn’t typically the case for most people.
If your visual acuity is less than 20/20, you’ll only be able to see about one-fourth of the pixels!
So in layman terms; 1080p would be sufficient for the majority of us.

Day_2 - Part_3.In this episode I leave a very misty Mizen Head and head down to Crookhaven where you can get the most southerly pint in Ireland at O'Sullivans Bar. Finally arriving at the Watersedge Guest House, Kenmare, where this episode ends.
