hi all. I noticed a crack in my main stand, removed it and it has actually broken in half. Any idea where I can get one has anyone experienced this before? thanks

If you're quick, ask the ebay seller here if the one on the bike is still available. Otherwise, like wellerman says, get it welded up. My cracked centrestand (was still in one piece though) was welded up by a bike builders shop.

There's been a dearth of centrestands, then all of a sudden, another one pops up here

They are badly designed so cant cope with the stress of normal use. Add some salt with vibration and its soon a 2-part stand.
Use some large diameter threaded bar with 4 nuts to make sure the top ends are correct before welding. But thats only the beginning. The stand legs need reinforcing vertically and it needs horizontal braces both sides to reduce the twisting. Take care to leave space for the spring and tyre. When done it may last a year or two before another weld or the repair fractures.
A paddock stand or two are a better option.
