Prolly a daft question, but I'll ask anyway!
Does the upper rear shock mounting bush pivot directly on the bolt? It has a sort of rubber inner layer; is this just for vibration/shock insulation? The rubber inner isn't supposed to rotate at all is it?
You'll gather from this that mine doesn't move, and I'm hoping that's how it's supposed to be!
Cheers

The bush and its rubber inner are firmly in place on my relatively new shock (and also on a retired knackered one), so you should be ok.

It's what used to be called a Silentbloc bush - presumably the patents ran out long ago so anyone can make them now - where the flexibility of the rubber accommodates the limited rotational movement. So it sounds like yours is OK.
