... any recommended pads ? gg,hh,or what ? I dare not recommend any particular grade of rear brake pads, not after last year's run home form the Jock Run on my Fazer 1000 !: ..... I will anyway. These were GG & covered less than 2000 miles. Might have been binding a bit though . I've stuck HH's in since . Oops! Edited to include smaller pic - sorry folks .

MOT'd mine this morning. Sailed through and I hadn't even touched it.
Very happy indeed, now help Bevy get the D9 done.

So that's the reason why you end up down to the canvas on the rear on so many runs ;D

They're only ' Advisories' Martin. You don't have to do them right away. I file mine under Work In Progress.

Replaced the defunct horn with 2 new ones.
So it now makes a loud harsh discordant reprimanding sound for anyone who pees me off, (except when I mistakenly press the indicator cancel instead, in which case there is no sound).
Now, some days later, I realise I posted this in the Big Boys forum, when I only have a little 600. I'll just slip out quietly now.

MOT'd mine this morning. Sailed through and I hadn't even touched it. Wow, you've ditched the Bandit for a D9 . I hope you take more care of it than the last one you had .

Ass, if you read it the Bandit sailed through I can now work on bevy's D9. Almost got it stripped to the frame (well he has) Hardest I've seen him work. Shockie knackered and needing replaced. It's starting to look like a big job.

Me? I wasn't the one who posted in a thread on the Technical Info & Modifications ::900 board & specifically titled " What did you do to your Divvy 900 today?" about some random other motorcycle .

I despair. The Bandit's out of the way and the work continues on the D9. Is that clear enough. Anyway you only specifically excluded Guzzi owners nothing about Suzuki owners.

Sailed through and I hadn't even touched it. Very happy indeed, now help Bevy get the D9 done. So you did something with the Bandit & nothing with a D9? Would have been simpler just to apologise for hi-jacking the "What did you do to your Divvy 900 today?" thread with your original post .

No, but YOU did start THIS thread after it being pointed out to you, that you were incorrectly posting your D9 exploits on a D6 thread. ;D Touche?

Been riding an Aprilia recently then? (Horn button in the middle, indicators underneath - why, FFS?) Always a cause for amusement to me too - the Guzzi has the very same switchgear. Funny when others borrow your bike and all you hear is "toot" as you approach a junction, and "toot" again as you exit it. Even when you do warn them..... At least they're demonstrating their ability not to get a "serious" mark on a bike test. Been there, done that..... ;D Makes me chuckle.

FZ6 booked in with your MoT man tomorrow.
It doesn't seem five minutes since it was all shiny and new out of the showroom. Well, maybe a bit longer, it's done 16K miles now. But it's still fairly shiny, when I can get around to cleaning it.

Felt sorry for Jane's D6 - so I went out and gave it a dust. Battery's flat as a fart so couldn't start it. Couldn't be bothered to bring the car around to jump it, so I'll leave that to another day..... and another post.
