Hi CD I am putting the Blue Spot Frazer brake calipers on my D900 and I am looking to order new brake hoses as well. I noted in your comments you say not to order D900 type because they dont fit. Could you tell what your ordered and the lengths. I can see that there is one hose going from the master cyclinder, and then the metal brake line which splits and goes to two smaller rubber hoses. Is there a kit I can order that might be the proper length.

Just an additive , if I`d had a better camera it would`ve show up the chips in the frame and Yams do not do touch up pots I, would love to know where I could get a small pot of that green colour because since my days of my first big bike , a 500 Dommy in 64 theres a lot of touch up paint around the D9 covering up what would surely show her miles , but a couple of things I`ve changed , one was the shape of the seat with that bit going up the tank would make me quite uncomfortable in the underpant area , the other the 4 inch bars and my cigar lighter plug for charging and jump starting ,I`ve only had to jump her once and it works , with a biggish fuse , and a " Scotoiler crampbuster" has been a boon too fitted to my throttle makes it pos to rest my palm on long runs , problems with a bit of artheritis I`ve actually released one of the springs on the carbs to make the throttle lighter as well . Johnny Hallyday (born Jean-Philippe Smet; 15 June 1943) is a French[1] singer and actor.[2] An icon in the French-speaking world since the beginning of his career, he is considered by some to be the French Elvis Presley. His father was Belgian, but he adopted his stepfather's name Hallyday.

Johnny Halliday isn't a true Belgian, he applied for Belgian citizenship pressumably because they speak french there or he get his fags a lot cheaper......

Mike,
Have you got any photos of it or other information regarding condition/history etc? I might be interested in buying the whole lot, sorting the problem and then selling the bike on, with me keeping the accessories for my D9.
How often does the fuse blow (i.e. am I likely to get back home to Nottingham on it?)

Crimbo! I love it and do it for the kids....I was in an orphanage with my brother as a child until I was about 10 or 11 stayed in the home from monday to friday then at step mum and dads house most weekends in a two up two down with an outside loo - then we came out the home to live permanently with step-mum and dad when they married.
The orphanage was a massive ex statley home called Hesslewood Hall just outside Hull - the thing is I always remember every year looking down out of an upstairs huge arched balcony window to the big back victorian cobbled couryard to see father Christmas coming down the drive in his sleigh to deliver presents - I believed in it all then as my eyes could not be lieing?? MAGIC (the local rotary club dressed up me thinks now - OR WAS IT??? )
I have retained that feeling and tried to pass it on to my kids.
Christmas does not have to be about spending money - bar humbugs! My dad wrapped up an empty shoe box and gave it to me one year. I opened it and asked what it was and he told me it was an action man deserter!!

Do we really care who is the Christmas No 1 anymore......
Bring back Band Aid
The blame has to fall on all the prats who not only rush out and buy/download the single just because they have to be able to say they have got it..... But even worse waste money voting for these acts to fund SC lifestyle.
MUGS the lot of them....
I just seems to me that so many of the public have been brainwashed into thinking that their vote actually counts for something. Despite all the claims of vote rigging and the times the TV companies have been fined for fiddling the voting on these type of phone in comps.
Never ever do they publish the actual amount of votes for anyone to actually check.
Hats off to SC as he has found a way to make himself even richer thats to the gulibility of the public, not only in the UK. But also worldwide........

Re: Xmas number 1 « Result #47 Yesterday at 8:51am »
Last Xmas No:1 I brought was Mistletoe & Wine Band Aid in '84.
As Fiasco says it is public choice which song they buy but this guy gives you no choice. O may be a bit cynical but how do we know he doesn't have a side bet on RATM being No:1 at Christmas?
Anyway Wogan/Jones will no doubt put up an excellent contender to Mr Cowells production.
Just spell checked this and had spelt cynical wrong. First suggestion was "senile" . Think this computor has developed AI.
Simon Cowell doesn't make anyone buy the records, they get to number one because people buy them.
I actually liked Alexandra Burke's version of Hallelujah, and Leona Lewis surely has to be one of our most talented home grown talents of recent times - I listened to her sing live on Radio 2 this week and she was superb.
Maybe I have been brain washed by the machine, who knows
Dave
Sorry Dave, couldnt disagree more. Cowell abuses other people, backed by the media. The freak show of early episodes of x-factor equate to the side-shows where the people laugh at the unfortunate. The ones who can sing get through and some 'lucky' winner ends up a ready made star. Pure media hype (by Cowells mates) gets the attention. The actual winner gets a deal worth around £100k, a pittance in the grand scheme of what it all produces for Cowell & his mates. And so far not one of his No. 1s have been original. Personally I thought that version of Hallelujah was poor. As with all the winners they can sing well but have no emotion in their voice. Wrong singer for the song. Plastic pop. Hate it. Just my opinion though.

I think the best Christmas number 1 was in 1989 ( also done as a bit of a protest against the carp at the time) was Iron Maiden's "Bring your Daughtert to the Slaughter".
